It worked!

I don't have much to say, except it worked!! The wool inside the lava chamber glows and bubbles and boils. Keep in mind this little quilt is about 3 feet high. Cool, eh?

Now I must put this project aside and work on another more pressing deadline... Christmas! Keep you posted :-)

  1. It's a Geologist crafter's dream! Having taken Earth Science as well as Advanced Geology in high school, I am loving it. I have never done quilting, but it looks very time-consuming. How long did this take you?

  4. Very nice! Quilting was traditional in my family, but it was the, well, traditional kind.
I wouldn't know where to begin making something pictorial. It's beautiful to look at, though.
