It worked!
I don't have much to say, except it worked!! The wool inside the lava chamber glows and bubbles and boils. Keep in mind this little quilt is about 3 feet high. Cool, eh?

It's a Geologist crafter's dream! Having taken Earth Science as well as Advanced Geology in high school, I am loving it. I have never done quilting, but it looks very time-consuming. How long did this take you?
